Family Reunion and National Parks Trip

I was reminded by someone tonight who shall remain nameless (the person I started this blog to keep busy) that I have not updated the blog in a while.

The family reunion was July 16th at Lava Hot Springs in Idaho. My Dad and Rinah joined us.. We also shared a house with Joaquin, Karen and Pam.

We spend 2 days lounging in the hot pool and Rafting down the river. It was so much fun!! I loved catching up with Jesse's family and seeing Idaho.

On the 18th we headed to Yellowstone National Park. We spent 3 days there seeing as much as possible. I don't think I took a breath.
Dad complained that I left him in the dust the whole time.

Which of course I did but I knew we might never see such beautiful places again.

We set up our campsite in Canyon which ended up being in the middle of a park that's the size of a state.

So many amazing sites and animals to see..
We did a lot of hiking which ended up with hail raining down on Rinah and myself.

After Yellowstone we headed to the Grand Tetons.

I really thought Yellowstone could not be beat but Pam told me otherwise and I'm glad I cut out one of our Yellowstone days to spend time here in this park.

Wow!! is all I can say.

I think that in all the hiking I have ever done in any park just doesn't come close to the hike I did near Jenny Lake.

Around every corner was something completely different to see.

The water, the mountains and the Moose!!!!

Yep... The moose were my favorite....

We had a pretty primitive campsite in Gros Ventre. I was told is was not as popular than the others but I loved it!

We were only 10 min from Jackson Hole so we walked around the town and took it all in.

I could talk on and on about this amazing trip but we have another trip around the corner so I will save some talking for later...
