Jesse and I vacationed for a week on Marco Island. We rented a condo on the beach with incredible balcony views.
We stayed at the Apollo where we had 1 bedroom with a kitchen and everything we needed to cook with.. The closet was filled with beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys.
The wildlife on the Gulf side is very different than the east coast of Florida.
Plenty of dolphins in the water everyday. The pelicans were out diving for food and the stingrays would jump up out of the water now and again.
The beaches are filled with lots of shells and we collected quite a few.We drove to a little place called Goodland and enjoyed some live music and Happy Hour.
Our days were spent at the beach,
pool, hot tub and the happy hour downstairs in the building. 
We rode our bikes a couple of days and I read 3 books.
We drove out to the Isle of Capri and had lunch at the Pelican Bay one afternoon. The food was
ok but I liked the view on the water.
On our last night we decided to have the all you can eat seafood buffet at the Snooks Inn. I think I ate way more crab legs than I needed but they were really good. On the day we left we had breakfast at Breakfast Plus and it did not disappoint.....
