Tuesday PM: Arrive in Fort Lauderdale, relax, eat.
Wednesday AM: Day at local beach/pool
Wednesday PM: Cookout/local
Thursday AM: Key West - 4 hour drive. Sight see on the way.
Thursday PM: Sunset cruise/Duval Street/etc
Friday AM: Key West stuff.
Friday PM: Drive home, eat, go out if up to it.
Saturday AM: South Beach. 45 min drive
Saturday PM: Marathon/Miami/Coconut Grove, drive home.
Sunday AM: TBD. Local Beach/Pool/or Billy's Swamp Safari
Sunday PM: Marlins Game/ Hardrock Hotel/Casino. 30 min
Monday AM: Drive to West Coast, beach TBD. 2-3 hour drive
Monday PM: Drive to Tampa(1 hour), c hotel, dt Tampa.
Tuesday AM: Busch Gardens
Tuesday PM: Drive home. 4 hour Drive.
Wednesday: Day at local beach/pool/Fort Lauderdale

Looks good boss. My only comment would be to not commit to too many things on the same day.........but I know you're just throwing out some ideas. Would we be spending the night in the Keys? South Beach.....that involves doing the tour in Miami? What's up with the marathon.........I'm not running. Not gonna lie to you boss it sounds like a good starting point.

I totally agree, and we will keep the $ commitments to a minimum so we can play a few things by ear. I was sort of compiling you and Brem's ideas. the only thing we will need to plan up front may be the keys, for the hotel and stuff. I think the ball game, busch gardens, etc can be last minute.
and yes, spending the night in key west would be the plan (4 hour drive)
south beach is close to Miami, so I put the two together. The marathon was something Michelle had wanted to do, and so I put the Miami day on the same day to make it logistically sound.
Hey Lora.... We try to accommodate all incoming guests the best we can.. lolol When you have a lot of people visit at once not everyone wants to do the same things so I will let you know how much we actually get done..

Hi guys. I have been calling most bike rental places in the area about that race i mentioned to Steve. I can't rent the type of bike allowed so the race is out for me. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Michelle, couldn't you just rent a Harley? I bet you would kick everyone's ass by a long shot. No inconvenience at all by the way. We still got the day and night in the big city...
I just came up with a good idea. I am going to move the "Billy's Swamp Safari" (if we all want to do that) from a Sunday morning possibility to a Monday morning event. It is on the way to the West Coast and it makes sense. I think we would all be satisfied with only a couple of hours there, but if you want to see gaters and swamp stuff you don't want to miss it.
