Weekend with Pam...
Well I can honestly say I can't come close to reporting any exciting news that will capture the audience the way Joaquin and Karen have with their latest blog. I can however just tell you what we did this weekend with Jesse's mom.
Pam came to visit and as I write Jesse is dropping her off at the airport. We seem to wear her out with each visit. Saturday started off with the Bodies exhibit. It was the 4 of us. My dad decided to join us and I have to say that it was really cool!!! It was a little creepy when you think of the dead people but they preserved it so well that you could almost pretend that they were fake.
After a little walk around downtown and the crafts festival on the water, we decided to eat lunch at Five Guys. This is a famous hamburger place that our friends have been raving about for months. We loved it and I think that I would rate it one of the best.
Later that evening the 3 of us went to the founders day fair on Deerfield Beach. We listened to music, looked at the arts and crafts, drank beer and played games. We also watched a 30 min firework display.
Sunday we gave blood and received our freetickets into the Renaissance Festival. There were a lot of shows and of course lots more beer... Later that night we had a very soggy barbeque. The rains came and Jesse grilled without complaint.
Monday morning we went to the Coconut Creek Casino and had our $3 buffet breakfast. Ever since I signed up for the players club I keep getting these wonderful deals. They also have a 2 cent lunch and yes you read that right. We will take everyone that comes to visit... lolol

Thanks for the post.
Hope to see you guys in cali.
nice update. looked like a hoot. As for movies, you should watch the Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford, Charlie Wilson's War, and Sweeny Todd. The Elephant man was real good. I saw it years ago and got a lot more out of it this time around.
He always gets the leg.
sweeny todd..
pshhhh
is there any other part?
if there is, I don't want to know about it!
pshhhhh
So, for all the years I worked the Ren Fest - you could never come! HA Hope you enjoyed it....I still miss those weekends...but that was BS - Before Steve and I'm not allowed to get into that much trouble anymore!!
HA
Do you know that I do not remember you working the Ren Fest... You will have to make a special trip one of these years and we will go together. As far as I'm concerned you are aloud to get into as much trouble as you want.. lol
